Polytectures is an hour long narrated soundwalk by Antoine Bédard (Montag) through Ottawa that explores the relationship between music and architecture. 10 local composers and musical groups translate key buildings on the walk into new pieces of music that together create a sonic portrait of the core of the capital. Polytectures features musical contributions from : Crush Buildings; Meat Parade, Andrée Préfontaine; H. de Heutz; A Tribe Called Red; Kingdom Shore; My Dad vs Yours; Adam Saikaley; Math Rosen; pH. BONUS MATERIAL
Because there was a 3 minute time limit for each composition, some tracks had to be edited for the soundwalk. Here are two of Polytectures' tracks in their full length version:
Meat Parade - Convention Centre (full version)
A Tribe Called Red - West Block / Indigenize Space (full version)
