Electric Fields 2011Church Musicpresented in collaboration with Montréal electro-acoustic festival - Akousma Thursday, 24 November 2011 St-Brigid's Centre for the Arts will provide more than a venue for Church Music, the basilica structure will become a performer for the event. Roger Tellier-Craig (ex-God Speed! You Black Emperor, Fly Pan Am), Martin Bédard and Jean François Laporte will explore the deep reverberation of the building in an immersive sonic experience. |

Electric Fields 2011
The Electric Fields festival focuses on the relationship between sound and space. We have commissioned a number of artists to develop projects that engage with specific spaces around the city: a public pool; a basilica church; civil service buildings; iconic national architecture. Electric Fields will use your ears to redefine your perception of the spaces around you.
