Digital Economies Lab
2019-2020
The Digital Economies Lab (DEL) is a year long exploration of the challenges and opportunities presented to the media arts by machine learning, AI and distributed computing systems. The DEL will involve in-depth research, dialogue with experts, engagement with the public and media arts professionals, the production of early stage prototypes and proposals, and a series of workshops for artists and cultural workers. The DEL is focused on developing the capacity of media artists and arts organizations by leveraging automation and distributed computing for production, dissemination and administration in screen-based, network-driven environments.
Participants will meet several times over 2019 and 2020, brought together for a series of workshops and collaborative production, and work with our communications partner HOLO magazine on the dissemination of the labs ideas and outputs.
Check out the DEL website for more information on how to apply.
If you have questions please feel free to email the DEL Project Coordinator, Kseniya Tsoy, at info@digitaleconomies.art
