From the ByWard Market to downtown streets and iconic landmarks, explore the city through a new lens. The Ottawa School of Art is proud to be an official hub for this event in 2026!

Exhibition:
7 to 9 PM "Where Are You Hiding?" x Ottawa Poster Show at Gallery 55

55 Byward Market Square
This exhibition celebrates the hidden communities around us and their importance in our spaces. Explore the theme of hidden voices, family, growth, and the cultural ties that bind people together. Purchase a piece of artwork and support the artist and the Ottawa School of Art.


Steamroller Printmaking:
7 to 11:30 PM OSA ByWard Market, 35 George St - Outside the building
Try Printmaking for free on Nuit Blanche! Head over to the Ottawa School of Art to have this unique experience and walk away with your very own print!


Printmaking Project:
7 to 11 PM

OSA ByWard Market, 35 George St - Sculpture Studio Room 107
Experience the joy of printmaking with the Ottawa-Gatineau Printmakers Connective members and OSA students guiding you. We'll have various stations set up where you can make a print including: printing small pre-cut linocuts, inking botanical/ found elements, using a small press, print using frottage with a baren or spoon and tetra pak plate making.


Cartooning for Children:
7 to 10 PM OSA ByWard Market, 35 George St - Room 208
Mini-Nuit Blanche Fun Faces For All Ages with Gérard Belec, OSA artist-instructor with the Children and Teens Program.


SPAO Cyanotype Installation:
7 PM to 12 AM OSA ByWard Market, 35 George St - Room 406
Photographs will be made using the cyanotype process and developed on site, highlighting the physicality and unpredictability of analogue photography. The installation explores materiality and experimentation, central to SPAO’s approach to photographic education.


Clay Project:
7 PM to 12 AM

‘Build Your World’ in a live ceramics demonstration with Penelope Kokkinos, OSA artist-instructor.


Drumming & Drawing:
9 to 11 PM OSA ByWard Market, 35 George St - Room 405
Live experiment in rhythm, listening, and mark-making with Shannon Pot, OSA artist-instructor and Jacob Meleras.


Choir & Dance:
7 PM to 12 AM
