PLOT 46: BENEATH AND BEYOND THE PLOT LINES

Plot 46: Beneath and Beyond the Plot Lines is a solo exhibition by Beth Shepherd that invites viewers to cross the boundaries between cultivated and wild, visible and invisible, and human and more-than-human worlds. Through living installations and digital and ecological art, the exhibition uncovers the engine of regenerative agriculture revealing relationships that connect soil, species, food, and communities. In this exhibition you will see hand-pulled prints, print-based mixed media, artist books, and digital works made by eco artist-researcher Beth Shepherd as part of a 4 1/2 year self-directed art-research “field” project conducted at a local farm.

The exhibition is being held at the ASP Gallery (Stafford Studios) at the Nepean Creative Arts Centre, Unit 1, 35 Stafford Road in Ottawa.

You are invited to the Open Gallery on Sat Oct 3 and Sun Oct 4 from 1-4 pm when the artist will be on site to provide informal tours and answer questions. Learn more about the Plot 46 Project and the exhibition at http://artthatmakesadifference.ca.
