There is something about the colour blue that seems to invite us to pause. It can be expansive and calming, but also mysterious, powerful and full of movement. It connects us to water, sky and the natural world, while also carrying memories and emotions of its own.
This exhibition brings together the work of OWAA artists exploring the many possibilities of cerulean blue — from oceans and waterways to wildlife, landscapes, movement and more abstract interpretations of the colour.
Come and see how differently each artist responds to this deceptively simple theme.
