The Indigenous Curatorial Collective (ICCA) presents Tides and Currents:
Onáket (birchbark) meets Waka

A weekend of curatorial conversations, artist talks and international
Indigenous exchange in Ottawa. Bringing together Indigenous curators and
cultural leaders from Canada and Aotearoa (New Zealand) to explore
mentorship, exhibition-making, programming, Indigenous mobility and
contemporary curatorial practice across international contexts.

Friday June 12
Performance and exhibition by Greg Hill
Join artist and curator Greg Hill as he portages a cereal box canoe from
the Ottawa Art Gallery to Gallery 101.
This performance is a featured highlight of "Tides & Currents: Birchbark
Meets Waka," an international delegation and regional gathering hosting
M?ori, Indigenous, and allied curators.
This collective convergence explores a shared ocean of practice through
dynamic dialogue.
