ART+ Artist in Residency Open Call

Dear artists and community members,

MAC-CAM is pleased to announce the open call for the ART+ Artist in Residency Program, a paid, process-based residency supporting artistic creation by reducing barriers to space, time, and access.

Three artists will be selected and will have professional studio access at the Nepean Creative Arts Centre, 35 Stafford Rd, Nepean. This residency supports artistic research, experimentation, and practice development in a visual arts studio:

A $500 honorarium
Four months of dedicated studio access
Promotion through MAC-CAM’s ART+ platforms
An optional open studio or public sharing opportunity

The call is open to artists working in visual arts, installation, sculpture, and socially engaged arts. While all professional artists are eligible to apply, priority will be given to artists who face systemic barriers to accessing studio space, including Indigenous, Black, POC, immigrant, refugee, and newcomer artists. Finished artwork is not required.
