Russell Yuristy Exhibition in Ottawa

Cube Gallery is pleased to present Canadian icon and National Gallery artist Russell Yuristy in an exhibition at 1285 Wellington St. West. (Yes, the old Cube space! We are experimenting with a short term Pop-Up at the NAK Gallery.)

Yuristy continues to enthrall with his voracious love of nature - trees, fish, animals and birds. An internationally recognized printmaker, painter and sculptor, Yuristy originally hails from the Saskatchewan art scene, but has made Ottawa his home for several decades. Born in 1936, Yuristy’s work can be found in the National Gallery of Canada, as well as the Ottawa Art Gallery, City of Ottawa Art Collection, Canada Council Art Bank, Mendel Art Gallery and Mackenzie Art Gallery.

There will be a preview and vernissage: Saturday and Sunday, May 25,26: 11 am-4 pm. Note: Russ Yuristy will be in attendance from 2-4 pm on Sunday only!

The rest of the show is by appointment only. If you are interested in seeing these works from May 27-July 28, please call Don Monet at 613 261 9504 to arrange a time to visit.
