Edit-a-thon: Canadian BIPOC Artists Rolodex

Join the Canadian BIPOC Artists Rolodex for an edit-a-thon at the Art Bank! Co-hosted by the Canada Council Art Bank and the Rolodex project, this collaborative session invites participants to research, write, and help create artist entries for the Rolodex—a digital platform and living network that showcases the work of Black, Indigenous, People of Colour artists. The afternoon includes a tour of the Art Bank, guided support, and space for discussion, reflection and community-building. Help expand the Rolodex and support a more inclusive Canadian art history. Joignez-vous à nous pour un rédact-o-thon à la Banque d’art! Coanimée par la Banque d’art du Conseil des arts du Canada et le Canadian BIPOC Artists Rolodex, cette séance collaborative invite les participant·e·s à effectuer des recherches, à rédiger et à contribuer à la création de fiches d’artistes pour le Répertoire — une plateforme numérique et un réseau vivant qui mettent en valeur le travail des artistes noir·e·s, autochtones et racisé·e·s.

L’après-midi comprendra une visite guidée de la Banque d’art, un accompagnement personnalisé ainsi qu’un espace d’échange, de réflexion et de réseautage communautaire.
