Celebrate the season at the Carleton Place Gallery with The 50s; a special holiday exhibition featuring a diverse selection of original fine art, priced at $250, $350 and $450. This curated collection showcases the creativity of local artists, and is perfect for collectors and gift-givers alike. The show offers an opportunity for visitors to acquire unique works of art just in time for the holidays. Whether you are creating, giving or collecting, celebrate the season with affordable art that is both memorable and meaningful.

Deadline: Wednesday, October 7, 2026
Length of Exhibit: Saturday, November 21, 2026 to Thursday, January 7, 2026
Fee: A non-refundable fee of $45 plus HST is to be paid immediately upon acceptance, in order to hold your spot.
Acceptance Letters: All applications and artwork will be curated and will be notified of status by email by Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Fees are to be paid by Sunday, October 18 by e-transfer to carletonplacegallery@gmail.com, in order to hold your spot.


The Carleton Place Gallery is now accepting applications for its 2026 holiday exhibition – The 50s. Artists residing within 100 km of Carleton Place are invited to apply for consideration. We welcome submissions from fine artists at all stages of their careers and encourage a wide range of artistic voices, mediums, and forms of expression. Art will be evaluated equally based on criteria expectations and adherence to the gallery standards and guidelines.

NOTE: This is a fine-art event. No crafts will be accepted. Artists may submit up to five pieces with their application. A maximum of three pieces may be accepted per artist.
