The Ottawa s’affiche ! Poster Show

To mark Ottawa’s bicentennial, 21 printmakers from the Ottawa-Gatineau Printmakers Connective created large hand-made posters using a variety of printmaking techniques, to interpret moments in history and landmarks of the city’s cultural, social and natural heritage, from Bytown to Ottawa. The exhibition “The Ottawa s’affiche ! Poster Show” presents over 25 original prints sized 20 X 15 in. Through each poster, the artists invite visitors to reflect on their own experiences of the city.

The OGPC exhibition is concurrent with Ottawa School of Art’s exhibition “Where Are You Hiding?” in the same venue. Artists and OSA Diploma students created works on paper that celebrate the hidden communities around us and their importance in our spaces.
