Space Exploration Inspires a New Way to View Art.
Local Carleton Place artist Colleen Gray was deeply moved and inspired by the Artemis II mission to map the dark side of the moon. That inspiration culminated in a collection of work being released at this Saturday and Sunday's Arts Carleton Place Fine Art Show happening at the Carleton Place Arena located at 75 Neelin St, Carleton Place, ON.
This inspired work also moved Colleen to develop an innovative hanging and display system that must be seen to grasp the impact of its importance in how art can be displayed in both public and private settings. The framing was taken from idea to concept and then to manufacturing over the course of 5 months. It is designed to bring a truly unique perspective to circular format fine art.
Images of the work have been secretive up to this point so attend the show to get a global view of Colleen's unique style of work and display.
