We invite you to a screening of Doors of War, a documentary exploring memory, displacement, and material evidence of conflict through the lens of contemporary art.

Created by Ukrainian activist and artist Ruslan Kurt, the film centers on an installation of 25 damaged doors, each representing one Ukrainian Oblast (region). Having relocated to Canada after Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, Kurt brings these fragments of physical destruction to North America as both testimony and artistic gesture—reflecting on loss, endurance, and reunification.
