Open Call for Artists: 2026 ART+ Series by the Multicultural Artists' Coalition
Applications for the 2026 ART+ Series are now open.
The ART+ Series celebrates cultural exchange and highlights the creative and professional talents of artists from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. In 2026, the program will feature 20 artists across two visual arts exhibitions and two performing arts showcases in Ottawa. Each selected artist will receive a $500 honorarium + applicable taxes.

Who Can Apply
Artists working in any discipline are invited to apply. We welcome submissions from creators at all stages of their careers and from all identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences.

Program Focus
While the program is open to all artists, priority will be given to newcomers, IBPOC artists, 2SLGBTQIA+ artists, artists with disabilities, and other equity-seeking voices whose perspectives remain underrepresented in mainstream arts spaces.
