44.4 Mother/Artist Collective: Sculpting with Paper


We’re excited to invite you to the next 44.4 Mother/Artist Collective workshop: Sculpting with Paper at the Ottawa Art Gallery on Sunday, March 23rd, from 3-5pm. Free childcare will be available! Come join member Florencia Alba as she walks us through some fun paper folding techniques to create stunning 3D paper sculptures.

You’ll also get to hang out with other 44.4 members: Greta Grip, Lucie Raymond and Sarah Anderson, and enjoy a relaxed vibe while you experiment, and find fresh inspiration for your next project.

All materials are provided, but feel free to bring along any favorite paper or tools if you’ve got them.

This is a chance to connect with other mom/artists, get your creative juices flowing, and take a break from the everyday hustle. The 44.4 Mother/Artist Collective is all about supporting and celebrating mother/artists in the National Capital Region of Ottawa. We aim to break down barriers, encourage inclusivity, and make space for caregivers to thrive in the arts.
