Galerie Old Chelsea’s ever popular Christmas market opens on November 2 this year featuring beautiful works of art made by a number of new and returning local artists and artisans. On display are unique hand-crafted jewelry, a large selection and range of contemporary pottery, wooden sculpture and articles, textiles as wearable art, Christmas ornaments, ceramics and garden sculpture, stained and blown glass.

Come and enjoy our welcoming and stress-free Christmas shopping experience in our beautiful Galerie, where an artist is always on hand for an art chat or suggestions.

You will find unique gift ideas made by artisans such as:
unique and functional pottery bowls, mugs & vases, using sgraffito & other techniques;
blown and stained glass panels & decorations;
wearable art with silk and wool scarves, all handcrafted with care, each piece an original work;
wooden sculpture and bowls & other objects showing the beauty of wood;
sandstone ceramic sculptures of charming little figures including garden sculpture;
hand spun wool spun into beautiful creatures, dolls and animals, one of a kind toys, reminiscent of an old world era;
beeswax candles and of course,
small original paintings by our Galerie artists

Watch our Facebook and Instagram accounts where we will regularly post items for sale in our Christmas market and join the artists on Saturday November 16 from 2 to 4 pm for nibbles and hot and cold drinks. We’ll be more than happy to see you and to celebrate the coming season with you.
