The Ottawa-Gatineau Printmakers Connective will hold a reception for Beyond the Postcard: Prints from Away, currently on view at the Connective Gallery. Participating artists will be present throughout the afternoon to discuss the exhibition and the art of printmaking, and to lead several fun hands-on activities on the theme of travel. Visitors will be able to make postcards, booklets, and woven mats using discarded prints. Bring your friends and family! And if you are a printmaker, feel free to bring along your less-than-perfect prints to share with participants. Light refreshments will be served.
