Hypatia’s Voice SING the Universal

Hypatia’s Voice SING the Universal on June 7th
Join Hypatia’s Voice as we bring our 10th Anniversary Season to a radiant close—celebrating a decade of harmony, vibrancy, and community with a program devoted to the profound beauty of contemporary choral music.

The centrepiece of the evening is the luminous and haunting Magnificat by Kim André Arnesen‘s Magnificat, a work that shimmers with emotional depth and soaring lyricism. The performance will be conducted by Christopher Ducasse and features guest artists:
-Soprano soloist Ania Hejnar
-Organist Shawn Potter
-Pianist Astrid Camarena Correa
-A professional string orchestra

The program also includes beloved contemporary choral treasures, such as Song of the Universal by Ola Gjeilo and the powerful and deeply moving Ave Maria by Franz Biebl, along with several other musical gems.
Join us for an evening of luminous voices, rich harmonies, and music that stirs the heart. It’s a fitting—and unforgettable—finale to a remarkable anniversary year.
