DIVERSE EXPRESSIONS
February 17 - March 8, 20226
You are warmly invited to view “DIVERSE EXPRESSIONS", ?a 5 persons exhibition presented by the FOYER GALLERY. ?This show is comprised of a group of artists each with her own artistic path, who have come together to have a show filled with colour, mood and emotions.
Mary Rose is fascinated by the beauty and wisdom of animals, all creatures great and small. Though she enjoys painting scenes from poems, fairytales and movies, animals, often a black cat, will appear in the background.
Margaret Chwialkowska’s work is created with a unique palette knife technique with a highly textured sculptural surface and clean vibrant colour. This technique offers direct connection to the canvas encouraging spontaneous, and often abstract artistic style. There is a tactile expressive quality to her work.
MaGi artistic expression is sparked by everyday life; a word in a conversation, music, or a well decorated space. She enjoys working ion large scale paintings as this offers a freedom of movement that cannot be replicated in smaller works. She often reconstructs damaged items into beautiful abstract art. Beata Jakubek is inspired by nature and loves to paint landscapes. She shows the diversity of the seasons in her work. Her attention to vivid colour choices, details and textures in her art creates a tapestry of diverse expressions.
Sharon Collins is inspired by the world around her. Most often her work is nature inspired, but often music, mood, and emotions are the driving force. Her work is most often abstract. She loves to create pieces that evoke an emotional response in the viewer.
