A Celebration of Art and Music
The Carleton Place Gallery launched the first-ever Carleton Place Riverfront Artscape, a vibrant outdoor festival of locally and lovingly produced fine art, music and food in August 2025. It was held along the beautiful Mississippi River in Sinclair Square, adjacent to the Gallery on 210 Bridge Street. Conceived and organized by Ginny Fobert, owner of the Carleton Place Gallery, which showcases local and regional top artists year-round and is a hub for creativity in the Ottawa Valley, this brand-new community was so successful the gallery is going for year two.

Riverfront Artscape 2026 returns and is scheduled for Saturday, August 15, rain or shine, 10 am to 5 pm. It will be held again, beside the gallery, 210 Bridge St., along the river walkway in Sinclair Square.
2026 promises to be even more exciting than year one, with over 80 artists and musicians, live painting, carving demos and more! CKCU 93.1 fm will be broadcasting live and providing music, from 10 am to 1 pm, followed by an afternoon of music by the Almonte Song Circle. Food Vendors include Almonte Ottawa Valley Coffee, Foodie Lu's Italian Street Food, Michelle's Ice Cream Carnival and Pie Are Squared Food Co.

“The Carleton Place Riverfront Artscape is all about building community and celebrating the incredible talent in the Ottawa region,” says organizer Ginny Fobert. “We want residents and visitors to wander among the fine art, grab a bite, listen to live music, visit the gallery and truly soak in our vibrant culture alongside the beautiful Mississippi River.”
