Thisexhibition spans the J.W. Stellick Gallery, Lee Matasi Gallery and vitrines to showcase the thirteen Fine Arts Diploma graduates at the Ottawa School of Art. This notably diverse collection of emerging artists, who have called over 8 countries home, draws on wildly different artistic, educational and career experiences to explore many media.

three years of studies these artists offer you an impactful, ground-breaking exhibition:

Les Esprits – Marked.
This curated collection reveals how we have been marked by connection, displacement, longing, movement, comfort, colour, music, current events, memory, humour, nature, tension, dreams, spirituality, and experience. Most importantly, we have been marked by each other and this campus along our artistic development.


Marquer
Les Esprits – Marked
includes artworks that range from intimate ceramics to large, expressive paintings. Across media such as oil and acrylic paint, ceramics, mixed-media arts, sculpture and the media arts, the graduating class demonstrates how we have observed the world around us, integrated our lived experience and created something altogether new. Share with us, laugh with us, mourn with us, question with us and be marked in turn. In the sharing of these experiences we come together as artists, community members and humans who
share a spirit to be marked.
