Cartes Blaches de la Danse

Les Cartes blanches de la danse de Gatineau launches its first edition April 1, 2026 at le Minotaure, an evening of new choreographic works and multidisciplinary performances by regional artists in a live bar setting.

Cartes Blanches de la Danse will showcase five original works that draw from influences as diverse as contemporary, ballet, burlesque, pole, and country line dancing to explore stories of displacement, environmental concerns, identity, history, and hope. The evening will include projections, live music, spoken word, and opportunities for active engagement. This is a pay-what-you-can, drop-in event open to francophone and anglophone audiences.

Time: Doors at 6:00 pm, performances begin at 6:30 pm

Location: Le Minotaure, 3 Rue Kent, Gatineau, QC

Price: Pay What You Can; all proceeds go directly to the artists.

Guest artists: Kelsey Cross, Maren K. Elliott, Emma Flinn, Kendra Guidolin, Patricia Kenny, Melissa Nicholls, Dimitri Treheles, and Jasmine van Schouwen.
