This expression of interest is seeking a lead Anishinabe Algonquin visual artist to lead a public art project for the Chief William Commanda Bridge project. A lead Anishinabe Algonquin visual artist will bring together a diverse intergenerational group of Indigenous artists through a series of community conversations, meetings and workshops to connect, gather and share knowledge. Following this research phase, the lead Anishinabe Algonquin visual artist will design and develop a proposal for an exterior public art installation near the Chief William Commanda Bridge.
