SCRIPTS ANALYSIS
Sunday May 3: 9.30 am - 12.30
Judy Bainbridge: "If you've ever looked at a piece of calligraphy and wondered how the script was done, my detective workshop will show you how to analyze any script to find out exactly how it was done. You'll find out how to figure out the pen size, pen angle, x-height etc. We will work through a couple of examples and you will feel much more confident in analyzing any script."
"Bring good practice paper, a variety of pen sizes, good ink (Pelikan, or preferably stick ink, stone and distilled water.), a water jar, paper towels a ruler marked clearly with millimetres, pencil and eraser. You might want a magnifying glass."
