Asinabka Festival Program Announced

Our film schedule has 12 separate film programs, with 4 feature length films, and over 40 short films, including a program of Maori & Pacific shorts curated by Leo Koziol from the Wairoa Maori Film Festival (New Zealand), and the Ottawa premiere of Nika & Madison, fresh from the premiere at TIFF.

Our music showcase takes place at Club SAW and features a cohort of predominantly Ottawa-based vinyl and electronic DJ’s. Our art exhibition "Tante Ohci - Where From?" features Cree-Métis artist Jamie Koebel, curated by Jason Baerg, and is produced in partnership with Gallery 101 and the Shushkitew Collective. As a part of the festival, we''re also excited to have Indigenous craft vendors set-up for 4 days in the Berlanga Lounge at the Arts Court.

We’re honoured and delighted to be able to present all of this year's programming and artistic talent, please join us in-person at SAW Gallery, Gallery 101, the Berlanga Lounge, and the Asinabka Festival office hub, for the 2025 edition of the Asinabka Festival.
