Free Workshop: Art & Nature Journaling - Autumn's little gems with local artist/instructor: Maya Hum

This free art/nature journaling session will be all about shiny stones and autumn leaves — capturing the beauty of small treasures found in nature. Bring your art journal, sketchbook and join us for a creative hour of drawing and painting. (Approximately 1 hr. art time, followed by 10-15 min reflection/questions/show and tell time!) Perfect for all levels. Offered online via Zoom. Note: Free lessons are not recorded.

Recommended Materials: Sketchbook/Art journal, Pencil, Pencil Sharpener, Eraser, Paper towel or Rag, Scissors, Painter’s tape, Basic Paint Supplies of student choice (container of water, brush, red and yellow colours, dish or mixing palette). Optional: hair dryer
