The Art-image exhibition center at the Maison de la culture de Gatineau invites artists to submit proposals for innovative exhibitions and recent contemporary artworks for the year 2026. As a museum institution, Art-image is part of a large cultural complex. Its exhibitions, intended for a broad audience, receive exceptional visibility due to their location. The center handles the promotion of the exhibition and its installation in collaboration with the artist. A fee for exhibition rights is provided.

Art-image is located on the first level of the Maison de la culture de Gatineau, near the main hallway. The enclosed space, rectangular in shape with white walls, is equipped with theatrical lighting that enhances the exhibited works. All formats of works and installations are welcome.

WHO IS IT FOR? : Art-image is aimed at professional contemporary artists from the National Capital Region (Gatineau-Ottawa), Quebec, Ontario, and other parts of the country.

The proposal must include:
- A resume (max. 2 pages)
- An artist statement (max. 300 words)
- A description of the exhibition (max. 500 words)
- 10 images with a descriptive list and/or an audio or video clip (max. 2 minutes)
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: From April 7 to 28, 2025
