Calling All Artists in the National Capital Region! Apply Now for the 2025 ART+ Showcase and Exhibition by the Multicultural Artists’ Coalition (MAC-CAM)
Are you a visual or performing artist ready to share your work with new audiences? The ART+ Series is back, and we’re looking for 20 incredible artists to feature across two visual arts exhibitions and two performing arts showcases at Arts Court in Ottawa. This is your chance to be part of an exciting cultural celebration—and to be paid for your art!

Why ART+?
At MAC-CAM, we believe that art is a powerful medium for cultural exchange. We are committed to fostering inclusive, welcoming, and safe spaces for all artists and cultural workers. The ART+ Series embraces diversity and centers the voices of Indigenous, Black, People of Colour (POC), and newcomer artists, making it a unique platform for underrepresented creators.

Are You Eligible?

Artists must reside in the National Capital Region (travel and per diem expenses are not provided).
Priority is given to artists from Equity-Deserving Groups.
Open to professional artists.
Artists who participated in the 2023 and 2024 ART+ Series are ineligible to apply.

How Do We Select Artists?
Our selection process values:

Artistic Merit: We use decolonial frameworks to assess diverse cultural expressions, moving beyond Western aesthetic standards.
Balanced Representation: We aim for a rich mix of artistic disciplines, geographic diversity, and equitable representation.
