ARTpreneur: Pitch Contest

Arts Network Ottawa is now accepting applications for our ARTPRENEUR PITCHING CONTEST, presented and sponsored by Desjardins Ontario Credit Union, as part of Creative Continuum 2024. Creative Continuum 2024 explores topics like climate action, urban planning, access to space, and how these challenges directly impact artists and cultural workers. We will bring together community, art-makers + change-makers to generate forward-thinking, action-oriented discussions.



To end the day, we are looking for creative entrepreneurs and community-enthusiasts to pitch us your ideas and project proposals that respond to the topics and challenges addressed in this year’s Conference. FIVE successful applicants will receive free Conference Passes and have the opportunity to present their “pitch” in front of a live-audience and panel of judges for the chance to WIN $1000 in seed funding for their project (courtesy of Desjardins Ontario Credit Union)! Presenters will have access to a projector for slideshows and multimedia.
Applications must be submitted by April 30, 2024 at 4pm
You may submit your idea as an individual or team.
ONE submission per team or individual will be accepted.
Your submission must be an original idea or concept that responds to Conference themes and topics.
Submissions will be accepted in English and/or French. Presentations may be delivered in English and/or French
Individuals must be available May 10, 2024 to present. For teams, at least one member must be available.
