CALL TO ARTISTS for the 2025 Calendar for Art-image exhibition center.

The Art-image exhibition center at the Maison de la culture de Gatineau is looking for innovative proposals and recent works in contemporary art for the year 2025. Art-image, a museum institution, is part of a vast cultural complex. The exhibitions are aimed at the general public and enjoy exceptional visibility given the location. Art-image sees the promotion of the exhibition and the installation with the artist. An exhibition rights fee is paid. The exhibition center is located on the first level of the Maison de la culture de Gatineau, near the main corridor. The enclosed space is rectangular with white walls. A theatrical lighting system gives character to the exhibition. All formats of works and installations are welcome.

FOR WHO?: Art-image is intended for professional artists in contemporary art in the National Capital Region (Gatineau-Ottawa), Quebec, Ontario, and elsewhere in the country.

PROPOSALS MUST INCLUDE:
- A résumé (max. 2 pages)
- An artist’s statement (300 words)
- A description of the proposed exhibition (500 words)
- Up to 10 images of recent or proposed works / a video or audio extract with a detailed image list
