This summer, the Art Bank opened its latest exhibition, Resistant Fibres, at the Canada Council Âjagemô exhibition space (150 Elgin St.). The exhibition features powerful textile-based artworks exploring protest, joy, and healing.
On Wednesday, November 19 from 12–1:30 p.m., everyone is invited for a lunch time gathering with Two-Spirit Anishinaabe beadwork artist jayde micah. It’s a great opportunity to visit the exhibition, connect with fellow creatives, and enjoy a hands-on activity with your colleagues—though participation is entirely optional. Art Bank colleagues and the exhibition curator, Julie Graff, will be on-site to provide informal tours of the exhibition.
Spots are limited, so we encourage you to register using the link below!
